We were honored to contribute to the Space to Grow initiative at James Wadsworth Elementary School, led by Chicago Public Schools. We transformed the campus into a vibrant green schoolyard, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for students and the community. Our work included creating safe seating areas, installing a new playground, and integrating educational planter beds for growing vegetables, enriching students’ understanding of ecosystems and environmental benefits.
Underneath the visible improvements, All-Bry Construction implemented a water management system to address Chicago’s undersized sewer infrastructure. We installed a detention system onsite, which retains rainwater and gradually releases it into the city sewer system to prevent flooding and alleviate strain on urban infrastructure.
